Type information: Holotype M, TURKEY: “ Gjöl banhi “( ZMB) (leg. v. Luschan); paratype 1M, Fethiye (Makri) (Krüper) ( ZMB); Karabag (1958) has given this locality as ‘Gölbasi’ in Bursa, however, this seems not to be correct. Ramme (1930) mentions only “Gjöl Banhi” in Asia Minor and paratypes from Makri (= Fethiye). The transfer to Bursa (as Gölbasi) may have done by Karabag (1958). According to v. Luschan’s notes the locality is situated between the provinces of Antalya and Mugla (see Heller, 2004: 6 for more details).

Distribution: E. krueperi has a relatively large range in south-west Turkey and is recorded from the Aydin, Mugla and Antalya provinces.
