Sixteen of the 27 GCL single-region species (59.3%) are non-endemics, 10 (37.0%) are country endemics (indicated by asterisks) and one (3.7%) is a state endemic. As expected, the largest number of these lowlandinhabiting species ranges outside the limits of Mexico.
