Comparative material examined: Sarax mediterraneus : Holotype: Female ( SMF 35614), GREECE, RHODOS, Lindos in Mauerspalten und Felsritzen der Stütz- und Unterbauten der Johanniterburg (English translation: Lindos in crevices in the foundations of the so-called Johanniterburg castle), 27 April 1964, leg. Helversen V. & Pieper. Paratypes: female adult, female subadult, same data as holotype ( SMF 35614).
