Lectotypus (designated by Esmailbegi & Al-Shehbaz in ESMAILBEGI et al., 2018: 334): IRAN: “In valle Wesbach m. Elbrus pr. Derbend”, 3.VI.1843, Kotschy 236 ( G-BOIS [ G00332257 ]; isolecto-: BM [ BM001254051 , BM001254073 ], FI [ FI 005715], G [ G00446112 , G00446113 , G00446114 ], P [ P00741766 , P00741767 ], W [ W0075971 , W0075972 ]) .

Notes. – The lectotype is a collection folder of two sheets, one of which has a printed label as in the isolectotypes, and the other has the species name, collection number, and date written by Boissier.

The sheet P00741766, was annotated by Boissier on a strip glued to the printed label.
