Material examined. INDONESIA: SULAWESI: 1 ♂: Tengah, nr. Morowali, Ranu River Area . Lowland rain forest, malaise trap. 27.01– 20.04.1980. M.J.D. Brendell leg. ( BMNH) .
Remarks. Paraphloeostiba papuana was known from several localities of New Guinea (Western New Guinea ( Indonesia) and Papua New Guinea; see Shavrin (2024a)). It is here recorded from Sulawesi for the first time.
