Material examined. PAPUA NEW GUINEA: 1 ♂, 1 ♀: M. Bay District , On Araucaria cunninghamii . 23.07.1969. C.I.E. ( BMNH) .

Remarks. Paraphloeostiba riedeli Shavrin, 2024 was originally described from “Irian Jaya: Paniai Prov., Bilogay…”, Western New Guinea, Indonesia ( Shavrin 2024a). It is here recorded from Papua New Guinea for the first time.
