This species of Ecclisopteryx was mentioned previously as E. cf. dalecarlica Kolenati 1848 by Ibrahimi et al. (2014).

KOSOVO: Deçan Municipality, Lloqan Mountain, above Lloqan Village, middle section of Lloqan River, 1333 m a.s.l., 42.5518°N, 20.1624°E, 13.vi.2014, leg. Halil Ibrahimi and Agim Gashi (2 males, 5 females).
