Type material. Holotype female at UGA, paratypes: females, males at UGA. Hosts and distribution. Ardea alba egretta (type host) (Pelecanifromes: Ardeidae ), type-locality: USA, Georgia, McIntosh Co. ( Kethley 1970).
Habitat. Secondary and covert feathers.
