Euhoplopsyllus glacialis affinis ( Baker, 1904)

Material examined— Aguascalientes: Sylvilagus sp., 2125.X.1945, Mooser, 3 males, 3 females.

Remarks—This species is documented in the central states and in two northern states (Coahuila and Sinaloa) ( Table 1). Common in North America, it undoubtedly occurs in all northern states where cottontailed rabbits ( Sylvilagus sp.) occur. It has been reported on species of the Lepus Linnaeus, Lynx Kerr , Romerolagus Merriam and Sylvilagus Gray. Acosta (2005) reported this flea on Peromyscus difficilis saxicola (= Peromyscus difficilis ) (J.A. Allen), which is an accidental association.
