Replaced synonym: Asplenium rhizophyllum L. (1763) .

Lectotype (Morton & Lellinger in Mem. New York Bot. Gard. 15: 37. 1966): Herb. Linn. No. 1250.16, right frond ( LINN) .

Current name: Asplenium radicans L. View in CoL ( Aspleniaceae ).

Note: A replacement name for the illegitimate A. rhizophyllum L. (1763: 1540, non 1763: 1536, which is A. rhizophyllum L. 1753 ). However A. rhizophorum is still a superfluous name for A. radicans L. (1759) and therefore illegitimate.
