Atherinomorus endrachtensis — Davis 1988: 164 (Upstream Buffalo Creek); Paxton et al. 1989: 356 (NT); Blaber et al. 1992: 7 (Groote Eylandt); Larson 1992: 8 (off Bing Bong Creek; Home Creek); Larson and Williams 1997: 351 (East Arm boat ramp reef; Channel Island); Hoese et al. 2006: 702 (NT; Gulf of Carpentaria, N coast).

Kimura et al. (2001) do not record this species from NT, stating that all specimens from the NT that they examined identified as A. endrachtensis were found to be A. duodecimalis , A. lacunosus or A. ogilbyi ; and found

Ivantsoff and Crowley’s (1999) material to be A. lacunosus .

The identity of reported specimens remains to be checked.
