Atrichopogon haemorrhoidalis Kieffer, 1921: 560 View in CoL (description of female - probably the holotype from Hokuto). Blech & Rohlfien 1987: 219 (holotype from Hokuto in SDEI).

Diagnosis. Female eyes pubescent, proximal flagellomeres cylindrical, paratergite with 1 seta, scutellum with 4 bristles.

Description. Female. Body dark. Eyes pubescent, narrowly fused along distance of 3–4 facets. Proximal flagellomeres cylindrical ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 I), AR 1.58. Proboscis short. Mandible with 20 small teeth. Third palpal segment with sensory pit at midlength ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C), PR 1.93. Paratergite with 1 seta, scutellum with 4 bristles. Wing length 1.61 mm, CR 0.69; second radial cell 3.9 times longer than first; few macrotrichia at wing apex ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C). TR (I) 2.7, TR (II) 3.2, TR (III) 2.5. Seminal capsule single, ovoid, with short neck, 0.100 mm long ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 P).

Male unknown.

Material examined. Holotype female labeled as follows: Hokuto, (Form.), H. Sauter, XII 1912, Holotypus, Atrichopogon haemorrhoidalis, Kieffer det. Complete specimen.
