Hydrometra gracilenta Horváth, 1899: 450 (as new species).

Distribution in Iran. Markazi (Vafaei 2005).

General distribution. Trans palearctic species known in the whole Europe and Russia, very scarce in Mid Asia ( Azerbaijan (syntypes cited from this country), Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tadjikistan, Northwestern China, Mongolia) (Andersen 1995).

Cimex stagnorum Linnaeus, 1758: 450 (as new species); Cimex acus De Geer, 1773: 332 ; Cimex lineola Sulzer, 1776: 98 ; Cimex angustatus Thunberg, 1784: 59 ; Hydrometra eremobia Kiritshenko, 1925: 5 .

Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan (Khaghaninia et al. 2010b), Fars (Ostovan & Arefnia 2011; Linnavuori 2009), Golestan (Hoberlandt 1959; Safavi 1981a; Modarres Awal 1997), Guilan (Cox & Cox 1995 as H. gracilenta ; Linnavuori & Hosseini 2000), Kerman (Wagner 1961), Khorasan (Linnavuori & Modarres Awal 1998), Kordestan (Sakenin et al. 2010; Samin et al. 2011), Mazandaran (Safavi 1981), West Azarbaijan (Gharaat et al. 2009), Zanjan (Askari et al. 2009).

General distribution. Euro-Siberian, Mediterranean basin, Middle Asia, Middle East, North Africa (Andersen 1995; Fent et al. 2011).
