Distribution in Iran. Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2009), Iran (no locality cited) Polhemus 1995). General distribution. Middle Asia ( Iran, Iraq), Saudi Arabia, Indian subcontinent; in Europe recorded in Corfu Island ( Greece) (Polhemus 1995).

Comments. In biotopes with Phragmites sp. ( Poaceae ), and Scirpus sp. ( Cyperaceae ) (Linnavuori 2009).

Anisops perplexa Poisson, 1929: 87 (as new species); Anisops persica Kaiser, 1940: 140 ; Anisops coutieri Brooks, 1951: 346 .

Distribution in Iran. Bushehr (Kaiser 1940), Fars (Ostovan & Arefnia 2011), Hormozgan (Kiritshenko 1966) General distribution. Spain, Potugal, North Africa, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Djibouti, Senegal (incl. Cape Verde Islands) (Polhemus 1995).

Distribution in Iran. Guilan (Cox & Cox 1995; Linnavuori & Hosseini 2000), Hormozgan (Linnavuori 2004), Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2009), Markazi (Vafaei 2005); Iran (no locality cited) (Kment & Beran 2011).

General distribution. Mediterranean basin, Near East, Central Asia, Indian subcontinent, Tropical Africa (Polhemus 1995; Fent et al. 2011; Linnavuori et al. 2011).
