Diagnosis. Macropterous female of Anteon with head reticulate rugose ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–7. 1–3 ); propodeal declivity with two complete longitudinal keels; protarsomere 4 longer than basal part of 5 ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–7. 1–3 ); protarsomere 5 with basal part much shorter than apical part ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–9 ), curved inner margin and two rows of lamellae situated very far from apical group of lamellae ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–9 ).

Description of female holotype. Macropterous ( Figs 1, 3 View FIGURES 1–7. 1–3 ). Body length 5.5 mm. Completely testaceous-ferruginous, except metanotum and petiole brown-blackish. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 15:7:15:12:13:13:12:11:11:15. Head slightly convex, shiny, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 6; OL = 4; OOL 8; OPL = 7; TL = 6; greatest breadth of lateral ocellus shorter than POL (5:6). Pronotum shiny, reticulate rugose, with posterior surface longer than mesoscutum (18:12). Pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–7. 1–3 ) shiny, with median region sculptured by many subparallel longitudinal keels and lateral regions rugose. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.3 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal complex, with transverse keel between disc and propodeal declivity; disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity with two longitudinal keels and median and lateral regions reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands or spots; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:16). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 11:4:6:17:32. Protarsomere 2 produced into hook. Protarsomere 4 longer than basal part of protarsomere 5 (16:10) ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–7. 1–3 ). Enlarged claw ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–9 ) with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–9 ) with basal region much shorter than apical region, with two rows of about 47 lamellae; distal apex with group of about eight lamellae. Inner margin of protarsomere 5 curved. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Male. Unknown.

Hosts. Unknown.

Etymology. The species is named after Chirinda Forest Reserve, where it has been collected.

Remarks. In the new species, the head is reticulate rugose, the propodeal declivity has two complete longitudinal keels, the protarsomere 4 is longer than basal part of protarsomere 5 and the fifth protarsomere has its basal part much shorter than apical part ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8–9 ). Because of the above characters, A. chirindense sp. nov. is similar to A. haladai Olmi, 2008 , known only from Zambia, whose female holotype (examined) is deposited in OLL ( Olmi et al. 2019). Following the description of A. chirindense , the key to the females of the Afrotropical species of Anteon published by Olmi et al. (2019), should be modified by replacing couplet 6 as follows:
