Etymology. The specific name is a term in apposition and is derived from the Latin words " reticulum " (= net) and " pectus " (= breast), in reference to the reticular decoration on sternum.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to Leptonetela deltshevi ( Brignoli, 1979b) , but distinctly differs the latter from the presence of reticular decoration on sternum, the tibial spur I far from pedipalpal bulb, the presence of 4 dorsal trichobothria on pedipalpal tibia, the presence of modified short hairs on spermathecae, and same as in antromargin of atrium (unknown in female of L. deltshevi ).

Description. Holotype male. Total length 2.06. Prosoma 1.04 long, 0.98 wide. Sternum 0.66 long, 0.64 wide. Opisthosoma 1.08 long, 0.76 wide. Dorsal shield of prosoma yellow brown, a stiff seta on anterior area of ALE, two on anterolateral area of PME. Thoracic median groove fuscous, needle-shaped. Cervical groove and radial furrows distinct, pale yellow. Clypeus 0.22 high, slightly sloped anteriorly, short setae along anterior and lateral margin. Six eyes white, ovoid, with black rings, ALE and PLE based on tubercles. Eye sizes: ALE 0.10, PLE 0.08, PME 0.08; ALE-ALE 0.01, ALE-PME 0.16, PLE-PLE 0.15, PLE-PME 0.08, AER 0.17, PER 0.21. Major axes of PLE convergent posteriorly, PME contiguous, median axes parallel. Chelicerae pale brown, a furcated distal seta at the chelicera posterolaterally ( Fig. 46 C View FIGURE 46 ), fang furrow with 9 promarginal and 6 retromarginal teeth. Endites, labium and legs yellow. Sternum purple brown. Leg measurements: I 9.63 (2.75, 0.38, 2.85, 2.25, 1.40); II 7.73 (2.25, 0.38, 2.20, 1.70, 1.20); III 6.28 (1.80, 0.35, 1.70, 1.45, 0.98); IV 7.98 (2.30, 0.35, 2.25, 1.93, 1.15). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. Femur I with 3–5 spines. One dorsal seta at each patella distally. Three trichobothria and 2 setae on all tibiae. Metatarsi II and III with a finely serrated hairs-comb at ventral base. Opisthosoma ovoid, purple brown, coloration dorsally denser than ventrally, covered with hairs, crinkled posteriorly.

Pedipalpal femur spineless. One dorsal seta at patella distally. pedipalpal tibia modified by 4 dorsal trichobothria and 5 retrolateral spurs, of them tibial spur I largest and longest, no furcated. Pedipalpal tarsus rugose, contracted mesially, modified by a large earlobe-shaped process retro-mesially, a ventral and 3 distal setae. Pedipalpal bulb subround. Prolateral lobe large, sclerotized weakly. Conductor developed, crinkled. Embolus broad triangle, stands at the apex of bulb. Median apophysis absent.

Female. Similar to male in general features and body size, but somatic coloration thicker and legs shorter. Total length 2.14. Prosoma 0.90 long, 0.84 wide. Sternum 0.58 long, 0.57 wide. Opisthosoma 1.28 long, 1.12 wide. Clypeus 0.20 high. Six eyes with black base. Eye sizes: ALE 0.08, PLE 0.08, PME 0.06; ALE-ALE 0.02, ALE-PME 0.15, PLE-PLE 0.12, PLE-PME 0.08; AER 0.16, PER 0.22. Chelicerae pale brown, fang furrow with 7 promarginal and 6 retromarginal teeth. Endites, labium and legs yellow. Sternum purple brown. Leg measurements: I 7.60 (2.05, 0.33, 2.30, 1.75, 1.20); II 5.93 (1.65, 0.33, 1.65, 1.30, 1.00); III 4.95 (1.40, 0.30, 1.30, 1.15, 0.80); IV 6.35 (1.80, 0.30, 1.80, 1.50, 0.95). Leg formula: I-IV-II-III. The chaetotaxy and trichobothria of all legs same as in male. Opisthosoma oval, modified by hairs and fuscous speckles, distinctly rugose on surface.

Genital area covered with densely plumose long hairs. Internal genitalia consisting of a pair of kinkled spermathecae, sclerotized weakly. Sperm ducts thin and faint, covered with modified short hairs, same as at anterior midmargin of atrium. The atrium broad, smooth postmarginally.

Distribution. Known only from type locality.
