Type locality. Germany, Regensburg (fide Tipton, 1960).
Type host. Apodemus sylvaticus (L., 1758).
Principal hosts. Mice of the genus Apodemus Kaup, 1829 ( Lange, 1948; Zemskaya, 1973).
Distribution. Europe, Northern and Central Asia. According to references collected by Nikulina (2004), L. agilis inhabits the southern regions of Siberia and the Russian Far East eastward to the Khabarovsk Region. There are samples of this species from Armenia and Tajikistan in the ZIN collection.
