Recorded from Ireland by Walker (1838), and from the Isle of Man by Buhl and Bennett (2009). Characters from lectotype in NMI: A8–A10 forming a distinct club, A9 1.4 times as wide as long; mesoscutum except notauli dull; notauli complete, wide and smooth, distance between notauli posteriorly 1.5 times the width of one notaulus; metasoma 2.7 times as long as wide; T6 2.0 times as long as T5, 1.3 times as long as wide.
