Platygaster munita Walker, 1835
England: Hertfordshire, Rothamstead, Rothamstead Experimental Station , 1 female and 2 males, 18 May 1957; 1 female, 26 May 1957; 1 female, May 1957, all ex Dasineura leguminicola (Lintner, 1879) on clover (? Trifolium sp. ), Milne, D.L. ( BMNH) ; West Berkshire, Berkshire Downs, near Streatley , 2 females, 14 June 1975, Noyes, J.S. ( BMNH) .
Wales: Isle of Anglesey, Llanddona , 1 female, 6–17 June 1962, Eastop, V.F. ( BMNH) .
Recorded from near London by Walker (1835). Hard to separate from P. subuliformis Kieffer , but it seems that whereas P. munita has occiput with about four distinct transverse carinae, P. subuliformis has occiput evenly reticulate; and posterior half of mesoscutum is longitudinally reticulate-coriaceous in P. munita , isodiametrically sculptured in P. subuliformis .
