Notes

This genus is tentatively treated as distinct but we are unable to separate it satisfactorily from Nemognatha . Most of the species have a characteristic metallic green elytra, a triangular-shaped elongate head and relatively elongate maxillary galeae. Exceptions include a species from Angola and Namibia (posoka Wellman, 1908) with short galeae, and two species without metallic green elytra (hayekae Kaszab, 1954, and ru pennis Pic, 1939).
