Type locality: [ Brazil] lac Baril près de Bahia [Blanchet]. Syntypes: MHNG-INVE-87402 (10) ( Ancylidae ) [ Figs 17-19 ].

– Remarks. An additional label in a later hand mentions “type / B. H-ck [Hubendick]” but it remains unsure which specimen was selected and we have been unable to find any published lectotype designation.
