Material.

IRAQ: Najaf Province: 1♂ (MMBC), Ash Shabakah camp, 150 km SW of Najaf, [30°48'N, 43°39'E], 260 m, stone desert, 15.6.1978 (O. Jakeš) .

Distribution.

Previously known from North Africa to the Levant.

Comment.

New record for Iraq, with the current material representing the easternmost record of the species across its known range.
