• 4°20′S to 4°50′S, 36°00′W to 37°15′W [04°35′S, 36°38′W]; 20–100 m bsl: [FAO41] Brazil, continental shelf off Ceará State and Rio Grande Do Norte State, coarse quartz sand and terrigenous mud. da Rocha et al. (2013)

• 03°29′N, 72°47′E; 22m bsl: [FAO51] Republic of the Maldives, Ari Sud Atoll, coarse sand. Gallo et al. (2007)

• 00°33′S, 90°31′W; 0 m bsl: [FAO87] Type Locality: Galapagos Islands, Santa Cruz Island, Conway Bay, 0–20 cm depth, fine to medium sand. McKirdy et al. (1976)

Remarks: This species is known from a few tropical intertidal and subtidal localities, probably with a Pantropical distribution.
