Type Locality: India, Bengal.

Vernacular Names: Bengal Slow Loris.

Synonyms: Nycticebus cinereus Milne-Edwards 1867 ; Nycticebus incanus Thomas 1921 ; Nycticebus tenasserimensis Elliot 1913 .

Distribution: Assam ( India) to Vietnam and S Thailand (Isthmus of Kra); Yunnan, perhaps Kwangsi ( China).

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Data Deficient.

Discussion: Recognized as a full species by Groves (2001 c).
