If it is not misunderstood, it must be a joke. Page 71, no: 17. is a known fish Salaria pavo , but on the same page the unknown 17. which the sentence started with the observation date and explanation continued in the next page which started with the following description “Mezkûr hayvanların kafaları koyu lacivert idi. Bilcümle kanatları da kırmızı idi. Birinci sırt yüzgecinin ilk üç dikeni kısa olduğu halde 4 üncüsü gayet uzun idi…”
- The heads of the animals mentioned were dark blue. The whole and wings (pectorals) were red. The first 3 spines of the first dorsal fin were short but the 4 th was very long …
As a result of these and continued detailed explanations, the unknown 17th species has been evaluated by the authors as Microlipophrys nigriceps . As the whole definition is read, the situation will be understood.
