Type material. Holotype, male on slide, 1 VI 2011. Poland, N 50°20’50”, E 16°24’29”, vicinity of the peatbog nature reserve „ Torfowisko pod Zieleńcem ” on Sphagnum sp. (southwest Poland, Central Sudetes, Bystrzyckie Mountains) GoogleMaps . Paratypes: 4 specimens on slides and 5 specimens alc., same data as holotype. Additional material. Samotwór, by Wrocław, 4 specimens on slides and 26 specimens alc. (22 III 2012, N 51°06’42”, E 16°50’48”, tufts of grass along a watercourse).

Description. Body length up to 2 mm excluding antennae. Body colour yellowish or greenish without colour pattern ( Figs 7 View FIGURES 5 – 8 , 34).

Head. Eight ocelli, GH smaller than EF. Antennae length 939 µm (holotype), more than 2 times head's length, Ant IV with bilobed apical vesicle ( Fig. 30 View FIGURES 18 – 31 ). Relative length of Ant I/II/III/IV = 1/1,65/1,6/2 (holotype). Labral papillae smooth ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 18 – 31 ).

Body. Length ratio of Abd IV/III <4. Trochanteral organ as in Fig. 27 View FIGURES 18 – 31 . Claw with 4 internal teeth: paired at 56– 58% and proximal unpaired at 75–79% from basis (holotype and paratypes), with the most distal unpaired tooth minute; dorsal tooth more or less at level of internal teeth. Unguiculus lanceolate, with smooth external edge on leg III. Tenent hair as in Fig. 29 View FIGURES 18 – 31 . Length of manubrium + dentes: 385 + 412 µm (holotype). Manubrial plate with 4 chaetae and 2 pseudopores ( Fig. 31 View FIGURES 18 – 31 ). Mucronal subapical tooth similar in size to the terminal one, mucronal spine present. Additional characters

Chaetotaxy. Simplified formula: 3-1-0-2-2(+ 1m)/2-3/2-2/1-2-1/0-4(3-5)-3(4)-2-2. Head chaetotaxy as in Fig 10 View FIGURES 10 – 13 . Thorax chaetotaxy ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 10 – 13 ): Th II area T1 with 2 Mc (m 1 and m 2i), area T2 with 3 Mc (a 5, m 4 and m 4i). Abdomen chaetotaxy ( Figs 12–13 View FIGURES 10 – 13 ): Abd II area A1 with 2 Mc (a 2 and a 3), area A2 with 2 Mc (m 3 and m 3e). Abd III area A3 with 1 Mc (a 1), area A4 with 2 Mc (a 2 and a 3) and area A5 with 1 Mc (m 3). (In one specimen there are 5 Mc in A7 area.)

Biology. This species was found in a peatbog with Sphagnum sp. and in tufts of grass along a watercourse (a very small river with melioration channels).

Discussion. The new species may be confused with widely known E. lanuginosa (Nicolet, 1842) and other species without a colour pattern. Fourteen Palaearctic species have the same chaetotaxy on the Abd II (2-2 Mc in the A1 and A2 areas); eight of them have 1-2-1 Mc in areas A3, A4 and A5 of Abd III, respectively. The other four ( E. luqueensis Baquero, Arbea & Jordana, 2010 , E. multifasciata ( Tullberg, 1871) , E. quinquelineata Börner, 1901 , E. vadelli Jordana & Baquero, 2005 ) have 2-3 Mc in areas T1 and T2 of Th II. Considering chaetotaxy of Abd IV, only formula of Mc by E. quinquelineata overlaps with the one in the new species. However, these two species have different colouration, body size, relative length of Ant I/II/III/IV, position of teeth on internal edge of a claw and position of dorsal tooth (see Baquero & Jordana 2008). They also differ in habitat preferences. The new species inhabits moist places. On the other hand, in Poland, I caught E. quinquelineata only in very dry, sandy and loess places, often with xerophilous or pioneer vegetation.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the yellowish-green colouration of a body.
