Opistognathus fenmutis Acero & Franke, 1993: 291 View in CoL , fig. 1. Paratype ( Fig. 75 View FIGURE 75 ): ICN-MHN 1821, female (218.0 mm SL), Colombia, Cauca, Pacific Ocean , Isla de Gorgona; R. Franke, 1989.

Remarks: Acero & Franke (1993) did not provided a catalog number for the female paratype of 218.0 mm SL herein listed. Mojica & Castellanos (2007) incorrectly listed ICN-MHN 2486 as a paratype.
