The subgenus Chirostilbia

In this section we summarise the previous work on the subgenus Chirostilbia followed by our own conclusions. We have largely drawn upon Coscarón’s treatment of the Neotropical fauna (1987), and based our arrangement on Crosskey’s classification in his annotated world list ( Crosskey & Howard, 2004) and that of Coscarón & Coscarón-Arias (2007).
