Pachyprotarsis [recte: Pachyprotasis ] bicoloricornis Wei & Nie, 2002: 53 , fig. 453; [male, female]; type locality: China (Guizhou).
Material examined. Holotype: female, Maolan, Guizhou Province (107°88΄E, 25°41΄N, alt. 750m), 11. 0 5. 1999, Wei Meicai leg.; Paratype: 4 females 1 male, Maolan, Guizhou Province (107°88΄E, 25°41΄N, alt. 750m), 10–11. 0 8. 1999, Wei Meicai leg.; 1 female, Maolan, Guizhou Province (107°88΄E, 25°41΄N, alt. 450m), 11. 0 7. 1995, Wei Meicai leg.
Distribution. China (Guizhou).
Diagnosis. Body length 13–15mm. Black, yellow-white are: distinct spots on dorsal parts of thorax, distinct longitudinal band on middle part of mesepisternum, large spot on middle part of pectus, posterior sides of tergites 1 and 2, two discrete bands on each dorsal side of tergites 2–7, whole of tergites 9 and 10, spots on lateral sides of all tergites; antennae black, apical half of flagellomere 3 and the last 4 flagellomeres white; flagellomere 1 slightly shorter than flagellomere 2; legs pale yellow, black are: posterior stripes from base of pro- and middle femora to base of tarsomere 1, spot on outer of metacoxa, apical half of metafemur, metatibia except wide middle ring, basal 1/4 of hind tarsomere 1. Punctures on frontal area large and deep, punctures on inner orbit and temple minute, shallow and scattered, surface between punctures microsculptured; upper part of mesepisternum with fine punctures, interspace without microsculpture, punctures on lower part minute, indistinctly shining (figs. 3a, 3b). Lancet with 30 annuli, middle serrula with 2 anterior and 12–14 posterior sub-basal teeth, the 9th to 10th serrulae as in Fig. 3 View FIGURES 3 c.
