Polysyncraton dubium Sluiter, 1909: 69 .

Leptoclinides dubius: Kott, 2001: 54 and synonymy.

Distribution. New record: Western Australia (Shark Bay, WAM 181.93). Previously recorded (see Kott, 2001): Western Australia (Houtman’s Abrolhos), Queensland (Capricorn Group to Lizard I.), Indonesia, Philippines, New Caledonia. The new record is only the second from Western Australia.

Description. The newly recorded specimen has the characteristic surface layer of spicules which are absent from the remainder of the gelatinous test.
