Holotype ♀, paratype ♂ Siming , Zhejiang, 2015-7-26, leg. Zhao Xue-Qian & Du Xu-Dong.

Female (Figs. 5-8): Size small. Head exserted above the pronotal surface. Width of vertex narrower than diameter of eye, anterior margin of vertex straight, not beyond eyes, median carina distinctly. Frontal ridge protruding archly between antennae, width of longitudinal furrow slightly narrower than width of first segment of antennae. Antenna filiform, 15- segmented, length of a segment in middle about 6 times longer than width, inserted the lower margin of eyes. Eyes globose, lateral ocelli placed on middle of anterior margins of eyes. Disc of pronotum coarsely, anterior margin of pronotum almost straight, midkeel of pronotum interrupted, upper margin of pronotum straight in profile. Lateral keels in prozona slightly contracted backward, humeral angle widely rounded, with a pair short longitudinal keels between shoulder, caudal end of pronotum narrow, long cone-shaped, surpassing the top of hind femora distinctly, length of hind process which surpassing behind top of hind femur about 3.0 mm. Lateral lobes of pronotum turning outwardly, posterior angles directed distinctly backwards, apex of posterior angles strident, posterior margin of each lateral lobe with two bisinuate. Tegmina long, ovate, apex narrowly rounded. Hind wings reaching the top of hind process. Upper and lower margins of fore and middle femora straight, the width of tegmina 1.2 times wider than width of midfemur, length of hind femur 3.1 times its width, genicular denticles right angle. Outer side of hind tibia with 8 spines, inner side with 7 spines. Length of first segment of hind tarsus longer than third. Ovipositor narrow and long, length of upper valvulae 5 times its width, upper and lower valvulae with slender saw-like teeth. Length of subgenital plate equal to its width, posterior margin with a triangular convex in the middle. Body dark brown. Wings black. Hind femur and tibia dark brown, lower side of hind femur not black.

Male (Figs. 1-4): Body size smaller than female, feature of structure similar to female. Subgenital plate brief coneshaped, apex sharp.

Measurement (in mm): Length of body: ♂ 10.5, ♀ 12.0-13.6. Length of Pronotum : ♂ 13.0, ♀ 15.7-17.0. Length of hind femur: ♂ 6.0, ♀ 7.5-8.1.

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to Criotettix strivertexoides Zheng, Wei & Li, 2009 , the major differences are listed in Table 1 View TABLE 1 . The new species is also similar to Criotettix strivertex Zheng, Wei & Li, 2009 , the major differences are listed in Table 2 View TABLE 2 .

Etymology. The specific epithet is named for the type locality, Zhejiang.
