Distribution. Brazil (states of Minas Gerais, São Paulo)

Diagnosis. Male: Color similar to H. muryense (Figs. 36A–B, 37A–B) but lacking sub-basal spine. Cercus in lateral view: small dorsobasal expansion present. Ventrobasal expansion occupying more than 1/2 length. Curved downward (Fig. 24B). cercus in mediodorsal view: Apical portion shorter, basal and medial portions subequal. Ventral expansion present and sparsely hairy on ventral border. Ventral branch of medial process wide plate, quite triangular but with curved step on external side; high sclerotized ridge reaching external side at base of curved step and reaching also base of dorsal branch. Dorsal branch of medial process very small, triangular, with two sides smaller than base, internal side sparsely toothed (Fig. 24A). Female: Posterior lobe of prothorax very narrow and roughly semicircular with small notch in middle, pale brown with large ovoid black spot in middle. Tips covered with short hairs (Fig.45D); Valves of ovipositor surpassing distal S10 and ventral margin with small spines ( Fig. 48C View FIGURE 48 ); Cercus longer than S10, without bristles at tip ( Fig. 48C View FIGURE 48 ); Basal plate: dorsal edge concave, longer than the convex outer edge. Ventral side 1/3 length of outer edge ( Fig. 48D View FIGURE 48 ).
