Material examined. Brazil, Pará, Serra Norte, Fofoca (municipality of Parauapebas), armadilha suspensa [= suspended trap], 28–31.X.1983, leg. F.F. Ramos [collector] (1 f#, coll. MPEG).

Comments. This is the first record of S. rolanderi from the Brazilian Amazon and outside of Surinam.
