This species is relatively common, known from the states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, and Rio de Janeiro ( Moreira et al. 2012), and is here recorded for the first time from Carmo do Rio Claro and Paula Cândido municipalities .

Examined material. BRAZIL: Minas Gerais – Carmo do Rio Claro, I.1958, (J. C. M. Carvalho & Becker): 6 apterous males, 16 apterous females ( MNRJ). Paula Cândido, Sítio do Prof. Fiuza , 18.VII.1997: 3 apterous males, 5 apterous females ( DZRJ) .
