5. Adelobotrys praetexta Pilger (1905: 167) View in CoL .
Type:— “ Peru: Departamento Loreto, Pongo de Canaraihi ”, September 1902, E. H. G. Ule 6368 (lectotype MG-6231!, designated here; isolectotypes B † [photograph F-016851, digital image!, F-602880, digital image!], F-602880 [fragments, digital image!], F-1026959 [fragments, digital image!], G-00386575!, GH-98-5711/17, HBG-11/1735, HUH-98-5711) .
Pilger (1905) described Adelobotrys praetexta based on Ule 6368. Specimens of this collection are deposited at G, GH, HBG, HUH, MG and fragments at F. Probably Pilger saw the sheet at B, but this material was apparently destroyed in World War II. Thus, the MG duplicate is proposed here as the lectotype because it has more fruits.
