New records. BRAZIL • 1 specimen; Piauí, Piracu- ruca, Sete Cidades National Park , II Cidade; 04°05′85″S, 041°41′69″W; 7 Jun. 2017; G. M. G Nascimento leg. (HUESPI 919) .
Identification. Cells quadrate to rounded on ventral surface; mamillose cells present at apex of leaves. This species is similar to H. agrarius , but the presence of mamillose cells at the apex of the leaves differentiates them. Briocenological group: saxicolous.
Brazilian range. AC, AM, RO, BA, MA, PE, GO, MT, MG, RJ, SP (broadly distributed).

Identification. This species differs from other species of the genus by the laminal cells, which are bulging on both sides of the lamina, although more strongly on the adaxial side, and by the bulging exothecial cells on the capsule. Briocenological group: saxicolous.
Brazilian range. GO, PI, TO (restricted distribution).
