Halarchon Bunge, Mém. Acad. Imp. Sci. St. Pétersb. VII, 4(11) 19, 75 (1862).

Annual herb. Leaves alternate. Perianth unmodified; staminal appendage very conspicuous; style short, with 5 tubercules; stigmas 2, with a membranous veil; otherwise like Halimocnemis . One sp., H. vesiculosus Bunge , Afghanistan.
