Pseudobatos percellens (Walbaum 1792)

Extant specimens: ACL-HN-0048 ( Fig. 10 ).

Classification on the specimen: “A.N. Raja ”.

Common names on the specimen (Portuguese/Tupi): None.

Comments: This species was undescribed at the time Veloso prepared it. This species is very similar to P. horkelii . See comments in that species entry. Antunes & Balbino (2003) identified this specimen as Rhinobatos percellens (Walbaum, 1792) . Pseudobatos percellens occurs in the Western Atlantic from Panama to São Paulo ( Brazil) ( Last et al. 2016).
