Note: The species was described according to three specimens collected in the ant nest of the genus Pheidole Westwood, 1839 ( Hymenoptera : Formicidae ) from Bunso in adjacent Ghana and assigned to the genus Fustigerodes Reitter, 1884 . Fustigerodes is an endemic genus to Madagascar with three described species. The species is here transferred to the genus Fustigerinus Wasmann, 1912 , which has already seven species known from Congo, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Ghana, and Guinea. New genus and species for Ivory Coast.

Distribution: Ghana, Ivory Coast.
