Genus Gymnodia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863

Twenty-two species are recorded from the Afrotropical Region (Pont 1980). Gymnodia ÀH [D (Wiedemann, 1830), was recorded from Namibia by Pont (1977: 367, Omaruru), but was not found among the studied material.
