Diagnosis. See Table 1.
Distribution in Europe. The Netherlands, France, England, Portugal, and Italy (Atlantic European coast and Central Mediterranean).
Remarks. All the ovigerous females examined, except the specimen dissected, have small oostegites. Ovigerous female 3.0 mm (BMNH 1991.124) weakly sclerotised. The specimens studied are from New Zealand. According to Cookson (1991), the specimens from New Zealand and Europe do not present differences in the pereopodal setation.
