Male characters. Wings: tegmina with subcosta lobe.—Femur armament: all femora without apical spine.—Tibia armament: [1.8.0][7.7.2][11.7.5], dorsal spines variously distributed. According to Chopard (1929) the armament of the tibiae should be similar as in P. africana , which, however, has only 10 spines on the dorsal surface of the hindleg; the type and the other male from the locus typicus have 11 spines.—Tarsal arolia: present.—Subgenital plate: with styli, Fig. 9A View FIGURE 9 .—Right phallomere: Fig. 9B View FIGURE 9 .
