Chrysis dentipes Radoszkowski 1877: 15 . Lectotype ♀ designated by Bohart in Kimsey & Bohart 1991: 403; Uzbekistan: Sarafschan (ZMMU, examined) ( taczanovskii group).

Distribution. Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China ( Xinjiang) ( Mocsáry 1889; du Buysson in André 1895; Tarbinsky 2002a; Rosa et al. 2014), with one subspecies in Northern Africa( C. dentipes cyrenaicaensis Linsenmaier, 1968 ) and another in the Middle East and Central Asia ( C. dentipes iraniensis du Buysson, 1900 ).
