Ellampus ( Ellampus) zarudnyi Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1932: 44. Holotype ♀; Uzbekistan: Tashkent (ZISP, examined). Synonym of Omalus aeneus ( Fabricius, 1787) according to Rosa et al. 2017a: 82.
Omalus zarudnii : Vinokurov 2008: 131. Incorrect subsequent spelling.
Material examined. Uzbekistan: 2♀, Tashkent, 11.V.1977, leg. A. Olexa ( MHC) ; 1♀, Aktaš, Tashkent, 11.V.1977, leg. J. Niedl ( MHC)
Distribution. Uzbekistan ( Semenov-Tian-Shanskij 1932). Widespread in the Palaearctic region with records from the Holarctic region ( Bohart & Kimsey 1982) to the Oriental region ( Rosa et al. 2014).
