Chrysis sogdiana Tarbinsky, 2002b: 24 , nom. praeocc., nec Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1954. Holotype ♀; Uzbekistan: Sharinkul- Tugaj na Karmeke , 25.vi.1968, leg. G. Kolyuh (IBPB, examined) ( sogdiana group).
Chrysis uzbekistana Rosa in Rosa et al. 2017a: 52. Replacement name for Chrysis sogdiana Tarbinsky, 2002 , nec Semenov-Tian-Shanskij, 1954 ( uzbekistana group).
Remarks. Chrysis sogdiana Tarbinsky, 2002b [= C. uzbekistana Rosa, 2017 repl. name] could be a synonym of Chrysis erubescens Linsenmaier, 1997 described from Iran in the ehrenbergi group. However, more material is probably needed to clarify the validity of this species. In any case, C. sogdiana Tarbinsky, 2002 belongs to the ehrenbergi group and the sogdiana group must be considered as its synonym.
