Material examined. Holotype: ♀, THAILAND , Phuket Province: Thalang District , Khao Phra Thaew NP, leg. P.J. Schwendinger ( MHNG) . Paratypes: 2♀, same data as holotype ( MHNG) .

Diagnosis. The female holotype is easily recognized by the tongue-shaped spermathecae in anterior view ( Fig. 237 View FIGURES 235–242. 235 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet, an adjective, is derived from Latin nouns lingua (= tongue) and forma (= form) which refers to the tongue-shaped spermathecae in anterior view.

Description. Female (holotype). Total length 8.57; prosoma 4.22 long, 3.48 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.18, ALE 0.16, PME 0.18, PLE 0.18, AME–AME 0.12, AME–ALE 0.16, PME–PME 0.16, PME–PLE 0.32; MOQ: 0.38 long, 0.40 anterior width, 0.38 posterior width. Leg measurements: I 11.64 (3.20, 3.58, 2.56, 2.30), II 11.39 (2.94, 3.58, 2.81, 2.04), III 11.26 (3.07, 3.45, 2.94, 1.79), IV 13.72 (3.20, 4.48, 4.22, 1.81).

Coloration. Carapace reddish brown. Chelicerae brown. Sternum orange-brown. Legs yellowish. Dorsum of opisthosoma sepia. Dorsal pattern: first and second pairs greatly reduced, almost indistinct; third pair represented by broad, disconnected median band; fourth and fifth pairs by broad transverse bands.

Epigynal plate with pronounced lateral lobes, posterior margin strongly excavated. Lateral borders retracted. Insemination ducts approximately same length as spermathecae. Spermathecae heavily sclerotized, tongue-shaped in anterior view.

Male. Unknown.

Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
