Observations. ARGENTINA • Multiple; Corrientes, La Cruz, Paraje Tres Cerros; 29°06′33′′S, 056°55′21′′W. Sev- eral individuals have been heard and seen, hiding in the grasslands of PTC. This species was recorded in all macrohabitats with the exception of plantations GoogleMaps .
Identification. Base coloration is olivaceous brown, spotted with black. Easier to detect by its particular vocalization, very different from Rhynchotus rufescens (Tem minck, 1815), another common Tinamidae in the area.
