Selsdon, Greater London , 1 male, 4.vii.1934; 1 male, 6.vii.1934; 1 male, 18.vii.1934; 2 males, 19.vii.1934; 2 males, 26.vii.1934; 1 male, 23.vii.1935; 1 male, 31.vii.1934, all Coe leg. ( BMNH) [= Surrey record of Corynoptera perpusilla in Freeman (1983b)] .

Ecological notes: found on heathland (heather, Juncus , Deschampsia ) with ancient and secondary woodland. With ants Lasius niger in bungalow. vii, ix.
