This species is found in southeastern (Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro) Brazil ( Assis & Costa 1994; Costa & Oldrini 2005b).
Three specimens were collected at 50 m altitude in lentic habitat with hydrophytes in Atlantic Forest.
