MACROHABITAT. — Alpine pastures, broadleaved woods, shrublands, riparian habitats, rocky lands.

NOTES. — The identification of specimens of the Pardosa lugubris (Walckenaer, 1802) group based on morphological characters is difficult. In particular, females can only be identified when collected in association with males. Nevertheless, the species of this group are reproductively isolated, so the only reliable means of separating them at present is their courtship behaviour ( Nentwig et al. 2014).
